The best way in Venice. From St Mark's Square, walk north-east past the basilica towards Campo Santa Maria Formosa (about 10 minutes), then follow Ruga Giuffa to Ramo Grimani. From the Rialto Bridge it is about 10 minutes east.
Venice's lanes are confusing; a map app helps.
The nearest waterbus stops are Rialto (lines 1 and 2) and San Zaccaria (several lines along the Riva degli Schiavoni). Both are roughly a 10-minute walk from the museum.
From Santa Lucia station, take vaporetto line 1 or 2 to Rialto, then walk east. Allow 30–40 minutes in total, or walk the whole way in about 35 minutes.
From Marco Polo airport, the Alilaguna water bus stops at Rialto and San Zaccaria. A private water taxi can drop you closer, at the canals near Santa Maria Formosa.
The palace's historic water gate is on the Rio di San Severo, but visitors enter on foot from Ramo Grimani. Water taxis can drop you at a nearby landing.
Venice's bridges make step-free routes difficult. Arriving by vaporetto to San Zaccaria and walking along the flatter route is easiest. Call the museum on +39 041 241 15 07 for access details.

A patrician house museum with a garden and ground floor redesigned by Carlo Scarpa.
